In November 2006 Chitimba Beach Camp was taken over by new owners and it was renamed Chitimba Camp.

The place is now owned and managed by Ed and Carmen for more than 11 years.

We live on the camp, ensuring constant supervision and maintenance of the lodge/campsite's standards.

Both of us travelled through Africa many times.

During these visits we were impressed by this continent.

At one day we decided that our future was not in The Netherlands anymore but somewhere in the southern part of Africa.

In the past few years several constructions have been done to improve the lodge/campsite.

We wil keep busy with reconstructing and expanding to make a beautiful place from Chitimba Camp and to make our dream come true.
